Renting the Myrna Noyes Community Hall

Private/Residents/Outside Visitors

  • Residents $150 per day/event
  • Non-Residents $300 per day/event
  • Damage Deposit $350 no exceptions

  • up to 3 hours = $40.00
  • a half day (3 to 6 hours) = $75.00
  • and a full day (up to 24 hours) = $150.00
  • Damage Deposit $350, no exceptions

Hall Contract

  1. Please fill out, date and sign the hall contract;
  2. Please submit two cheques:   a) $150/$300 for rental; and b)$350 for damage deposit;  cheques should be made payable to Summer Village of Sandy Beach;
  3. Insurance required; copy from your provider; for event including children see above PAL Canada;
  4. REMEMBER: ALL renters must provide a special event insurance liability copy for your event of $5 million in damages: Pal Canada insurance specializes in all types of event insurance including liquor requirements. Contact:  1-800-661-1608 or their website www.palcanada.com  The key to the hall will not be issued unless the certificate and paid copy of insurance is provided.
  5. Liquor license; apply for one time event license online;
  6. Food licenses; Jennifer.Fearnehough@albertahealthservices.ca if you are preparing hot food;
  7. Clean up required:  mopping, remove garbage, clean and pack tables and chairs; damage deposit may be retained if after-event inspection does not meet standards
  8. Please switch off water pump and ensure heat setting is returned to 15 degrees;
  9. Hall opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 11:30 p.m. - the key must be returned on the day after event - can be dropped off to the Administration office (Monday - Wednesday 8 a.m. to Noon) or in stainless steel Community Box (to right of  mailboxes at store)
