The Village has elected the following Volunteers in these Committees:

  • 3 members FCSS Committee required: Please email office directly if applying for the 3 outstanding positions.
  • 3 members Fire Smart Committee (Michael Harney - elected official); Public Members: Aubrey Loschuk and Clayton Hannah.
  • 3 members Beautification Committee - flower pots May to Sept - VACANT all 3 positions.
  • Emergency Management - BLOCK CAPTAINS: If there is any designated volunteers or group within the village that would consider meeting to discuss a block captain group for support in the case of an emergency or evacuation please email the office directly.

The Village welcome Diane Wannamaker as Office Assistant and wish her all the best in her endeavors - Diane looks forward to work with the Summer Village of Sandy Beach in a office assistant & public works admin support capacity.

September 2019

The Village welcome Tom Puffer as Bylaw Officer and wish him all the best in his endeavors - Wabamun Lake Regional Bylaw Services looks forward to work with the Summer Village of Sandy Beach in a bylaw enforcement services capacity.

January 2020

The Village welcome Joanne Sidoroff as Public Works Summer Employee and wish her all the best in her endeavors - Joanne looks forward to work with the Summer Village of Sandy Beach in a public works support capacity.

May 2020

The Village wishes Elaine Guy well with her future endeavors and thank her for her enormous contribution to Sandy Beach over the last 18 months in a public works and DEM capacity.  Thank you Elaine.  The Village also welcomes Devin Patterson as the new Public Works Assistant and wish him well in his position.  The Village also welcomes Diane Wannamaker as Director of Emergency Management.

September 2020
